Life has its problems, many of which are satisfying to solve.
Some of them, though, aren't really meant for that. Some are them are the structural walls that support who we are, and why we are. They hold up the ramshackle house of us, leaning us against whichever winds of fate are attempting to prevail.
Most of the fascinating people you meet are twisted around something problematic.
I got hung up thinking of this today, which of course is nobody's problem but mine. I keep coming back to one of my favorite variously-attributed quotations, which I first saw in a technical support forum back when we would carve these things on rocks:
"I don't really have a solution for you, but I greatly admire your problem."
