I like to think of myself as persuasive. If I have a point I feel worth making, I can generally make it. Go ahead, think about that; that's all I'm asking.
That said, I know that there is no art nor artifice I can apply that would entice my wife to join me, even on this loveliest of nights, for some hours together on the trampoline in the back yard. Skulking back inside only with the rising of the sun, giggling and refreshed; ready to face together whatever might be next.
Right at the moment, I could feel pretty pointed about that - it's been that kind of week for me, and many would say that it's that kind of night.
So... put that all together, and it's obvious I'm wrong about something.
It's becoming increasingly important that I know exactly what.
